Annual Reports

This letter from Atlantic’s former President and CEO, Gara LaMarche, is the first in an annual series that will chronicle the work of The Atlantic Philanthropies as it spends down its assets and closes its doors by 2020.

The 2008 Annual Report tells the story of The Atlantic Philanthropies and its revised strategy incorporating social justice into the fabric of its grantmaking. It also highlights the outstanding work of 14 grantees to make lasting changes in the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people.

The 2007 Annual Report tells the story of The Atlantic Philanthropies and its increased focus on advocacy. It features the outstanding work by 14 grantees in all of our geographies.

The 2006 Annual Report tells the story of The Atlantic Philanthropies and its “Giving While Living” philosophy. The outstanding work of our grantees is the highlight of this report.

This 2005 Report describes The Atlantic Philanthropies’ mission, objectives and scope of work in our four programme areas and seven geographies. There are short features on several grantees.

The 2004 Annual Report of The Atlantic Philanthropies provides an overview of Atlantic, programme highlights, grants awarded and investment performance. The report describes Atlantic’s current areas of focus and grants awarded in these areas.
