Research Project

Goal

To fund the South African component of the third phase of a three-stage collaborative research project on the role of civil society in three emerging democracies (South Africa, Uganda and Ghana). The project seeks to investigate the impact of foreign donor aid on promoting participation by civil society organisations in building democracy and how modifications of aid might better achieve this objective.
