Institute for Geriatric Social Work

Goal

To provide support for the creation of the Institute for the Advancement of Social Work in Gerontology which will provide social workers with skills and knowledge to meet the needs of a growing population of older adults; conduct research on the cost-effectiveness of geriatric social work practice and interventions; and disseminate relevant information to policy-makers and others.
