To support the construction of the new building to consolidate the research and training divisions of the School of Public Health in order to respond to the critical public and population health challenges facing South and sub-Saharan Africa. Also, to increase the number of public health specialists and doctoral students to meet a critical shortage in South Africa and the continent.
