South African – U.S. Universities Linkages Program

Goal

To fund the pilot phase of the South African – U.S. Universities Linkages Program to link selected departments of South African universities with counterparts in the United States. The goal is to enhance the availability of vitally important talent and ideas in South Africa by strengthening the graduate education and research capacities of historically black universities in that country.
