Start Smart Recruitment

Goal

To establish a program sponsored by TC3 and Cornell University to recruit promising minority students to enroll in college using two programs: 1) Start Smart, a program which would enable students to attend TC3, receive special support and then transfer to Cornell; and 2) ECIT (Exploring Careers in Information Technology), a program focusing on information technologies. Cornell would recruit high school minority students who are interested in learning computers to work after school at Cornell.
